Burst Royale will be a completely Free-to-Play game when we release the Free-to-Play layer. Players will be able to play the game on any available platform for free. This means that players will not have to make an upfront payment in the game to play.

At First Light Games we believe that the future of games is that they are free to play, but that players own their own assets within that game if they contribute to the game economy and ecosystem.

How it works

All new players will be given a set of free equipment to start the game with. There will be systems in the game to get more equipment and manipulate existing items. This free equipment are not NFTs and cannot be traded on the marketplace. Also, it doesn't give an ability to earn Craft Spice from just succeeding in matches.

Players will be able to play with this free equipment to earn in-game resources, more free equipment, and, with impressive skill, some tokens. Eventually, players may earn enough to obtain NFT equipment, even though they started with just free equipment and no upfront payments.
